These supplementary numbers determine lower-tier prizes but do not affect the division-1 outcome.
To win the top prize you must match all six main numbers drawn. Partial matches—five, four or three main numbers, sometimes combined with one or both supplementary numbers—trigger lower prize divisions. The minimum guaranteed division-1 prize pool is A$1,000,000. The chance of matching all six main numbers in a single game is 1 in 8,145,060. To put that in perspective, you would need to flip a coin and land heads roughly 23 times in a row to encounter similar odds. Because only six numbers are drawn from a field of 45, Weekday Windfall offers shorter odds than many national lotteries, though a division-1 win remains a statistically rare event. Lower divisions carry better odds but correspondingly smaller prizes.
