Play Powerball on The Lott
Entry is placed on the operator's site. 18+ only. Play responsibly — see the help resources in the footer.
How it works
Powerball draws take place every Thursday at 21:30 AEST/AEDT. Players choose seven numbers from a pool of 1 to 35, then select one Powerball from a separate range of 1 to 20. To claim the division-1 prize, all seven main numbers plus the Powerball must match the official draw.
The game is administered by The Lott, the official operator for lottery products in Victoria and several other Australian jurisdictions. Full rules and entry details are published at thelott.com/powerball.
Odds and divisions
The odds of matching all seven numbers plus the Powerball in a single game are 1 in 134,490,400. To put that in perspective, you would need to flip a coin and land heads roughly 27 times in a row to face similar odds. Lower prize divisions — matching fewer numbers — offer better chances, though we have not listed those here.
If you win
All Powerball prizes are paid by the licensed operator, not by Aussidraws. We do not hold player funds, issue tickets, or manage claims. If you hold a winning entry, contact The Lott directly via the channels listed on your ticket or their website. Division-1 winners typically need to complete a claim form and provide identification before payment is arranged.
Where to play
Powerball tickets are sold through authorised retail agents and The Lott's online platform. We do not sell lottery products. For official entry options, prize information, and draw results, visit The Lott's Powerball page.
All odds and prize structures cited on this page are quoted from the operator's own rules document and reflect the rules as published. If the operator updates a figure, we update this page and leave a dated correction at the top. Regulator: Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).
